Introducing intuiPhysics Free
Hi frens,
I had an idea to develop a physics simulation app, and released “General Physics Simulation” app to explore this area. I haven’t been able to pour more resource into this project for the past year, but it did sell two copies.
Thanks to g0v sch001 4th incubator competition, I revisited this project and came out an open source version, a free software, and I called the project “intuiPhysics Free”.
Rather than releasing the source code of my app, I rewrote it from the ground up to make it compatible with Swift Playgrounds, which I believe is much more friendly to high school teachers, compared with Xcode.
Anyone with an iPad or a Mac can download Swift Playgrounds, tap and open the project to start using the all or modifying the source code.
So, one of my goals is to blur the boundaries between users (teachers or students) and developers. Coding education can seamlessly integrate into existing science education through simulation.
There are challenges though. The concept of Swift Playgrounds is so good but the app itself is still buggy. Through g0v sch001 4th incubator competition, I’m reaching out to teachers on the frontier to explore how I can contribute to this area.
Your friend,
Denken
