Hi frens,
My web3 journey started from Matters.Town, a community or whatever, love or disappointment. There’s been an official writing cohort “book of seven days”, calling out feelings of home.
I dislike talking about private stuff online, however, I have an abstract sense of what “home” is. It’s not about hometown or nostalgia, but a sense of belonging.
We make connections with our colleagues, friends, families, or communities. Some relationships deepen day by day. Most times people come and go.
So, it’s always been really hard for me to understand how to best maintain a good relationship, or have a sense of belonging based on people’s reactions.
As the years go by, I find myself more inclined to engage in inclusive communities that share similar values with me, so even I wasn’t aware by others, I still have a sense of belonging.
And that includes saying goodbyes to those who don’t, and actively building relationships with these who do.
Your friend,
Denken
